Jemima Akolgo was the first to weave this type of baskets in Bolgatanga. Since then, Jemima has taught many weavers and has inspired them with her innovative approach. The perfect mix of traditional handicrafts and new forms.

The wonderfully beautiful baskets are hand-woven in Ghana by craftsmen from the Baba Tree Basket Co. The weavers are paid fairly for their work and receive an additional commission for each basket sold.
